The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club Training Discipline (BRPC Training) provides training for club members and non-members. Our mission is to offer training to firearm owners and shooters that provides them the knowledge, skills, and ability, to safely use firearms for recreational shooting, personal defense, hunting, competitive shooting, and all lawful uses of firearms. We offer training opportunities for shooters of all ages, skill levels, and interests.
The Boulder Rifle Pistol Club and BRPC Training is a not-for-profit organization. Therefore, after materials expense, all fees received for training are directed to the club’s general fund. The instructors and safety staff are all club members who donate their time and experience on a volunteer basis.
BRPC Training instructors have decades of experience as firearm instructors for the NRA, law enforcement, security, and recreational shooting. The diversity of the club is reflected in the instructor’s experience. All course attendees must execute a waiver to participate in training.
Course Topics include:
- Juniors (Youth) Program
- Concealed Carry Permits and Renewals
- Ladies Only Courses
- Defensive Firearm
- Personal Protection
- Range Safety Officer
- NRA Instructor Courses
- Nevada Department of Wildlife Hunter Education
NOTE: The Club and training facility is rustic and does not have running water. Our restrooms are porta-potties with hand sanitizing dispensers. The classroom is climate controlled however due to the extreme temperature variations during the year we recommend dressing for the season and keeping in mind that the range and classroom are often chilly in the morning and evening hours during the non-sweltering months.
There are no vending or food/drink services on club property or nearby. Our daylong courses require that students bring all food, drinks, and snacks they will desire for the length of the course. Most classes utilize a working lunch and students will not have time to leave the property for lunch.
